The Wines:

Franciacorta DOCG Satèn by Mirabella

Grape: 100% Chardonnay

Region: Lombardia (Lombardy)

Tasting Notes: The wine is an intense golden color. Delicate and intense aromas with a prevailing sensation of honey, flowers, apricot, banana and yeast enhanced by fragrant vanilla. On the palate, delicate and fine bubbles with lower pressure and residual sugar give the wine smoothness and an elegant mouthfeel.

Franciacorta DOCG Brut Rosé by Mirabella

Grape: 45% Pinot Nero (Pinot Noir), 45% Chardonnay, 10% Pinot Bianco

Region: Lombardia (Lombardy)

Tasting Notes: The wine is blush pink that acquires coppery glints while aging. The aromas are rich and full with typical fragrance of yeast, as well as berries and hints of vanilla. On the palate it's harmonious, smooth, easy to drink, particularly enjoyable for delicate palates.

2015 "Matteo Giribaldi" Alta Langa DOCG Pas Dosé by Mario Giribaldi

Grape: 60% Pinot Nero, 40% Chardonnay

Region: Piemont (Piedmont)

Tasting Notes: The color is bright yellow. At the nose the wine is aromatic on the nose, elegant and powerful. Hints of dry fruit and honey. In the mouth the wine is smooth with lingering bubbles and attractively dry and savory. A long citrus aftertaste.

2015 "Maso Nero" Trento DOC Rosé

Grape: 60% Pinot Nero (Pinot Noir) & 40% Chardonnay

Region: Trentino-Alto Adige

Tasting Notes: The color is called in Italian rosa antico (old rose), a pale rose, with coppery highlights. At the nose the wine expresses elegant notes of wild berries with nuances of vanilla and bread crust. In the mouth the wine is fine and smooth with great acidity and long persistency. The bubbles are fine and elegant, the alcohol is 12%, and the wine results very balanced.
