2020 Inferno Valtellina Superiore DOCG by Casa Vinicola Bettini
Grape: 95% Nebbiolo (Chiavennasca), 5% other local grapes (Pignola, Rossola, Pinot Noir)
Region: Lombardy
Tasting Notes: The color is a bright ruby red. The nose is delicate and ethereal with aromas of dried cherries, pencil shavings, tar, leather and roses. On the palate the wine is harmonious with elegant tannins. The taste is dry, lightly tart, with fruity flavors of cherry, raspberry and plum. This wine is beautifully structured and fairly approachable, however, this wine will easily age effortlessly for another 15-20+ years.
